Problem
The currently installed certificate in the connector is expired and no longer valid.
Serrala does not provide certificates for connectors. The certificate must always be provided by the respective external provider.
Solution
Follow these steps to install a new certificate:
Open Trust Manager
Start transaction
STRUST.
Navigate to SSL Client
In the navigation tree, select SSL Client (Standard).
In the status section, double-click on the relevant server entry.
Check Installed Certificates
Review the list of installed certificates.
Double-click a certificate to check its validity status.
Identify the expired certificate.
Import New Certificate
Click on Import Certificate.
In the popup, specify the file path of the new certificate (e.g.,
C:\Temp).Confirm to load the certificate.
Add Certificate to List
Add the imported certificate to the certificate list.
Save your changes.
Restart ICM (Internet Communication Manager)
Open transaction
SMICM.Navigate to:
Administration → Exit Soft → Global
Confirm the security prompt with Yes.
Validation
The new certificate is now active and ready for use.
Known Limitations
Certificates must always be provided by the external service provider.
Serrala does not issue or supply connector certificates.
Incorrect certificate paths or formats will cause import failures.
